This cable fits for all standard carbureted Cobra drives (Not King Cobra) from 1988 through 1993. It will also fit for the earlier models 1986 and 1987 if the cable and shift arm has been updated to the red cable. It will not replace for the black cable on 1986 and 1987 models unless you update the shift arm.
This cable may not fit for some late model 5.0L fuel injected engines, for 2.3L OMC Ford engines, 5.7L OMC engines in 1987 or late model 5.8L engines (e.g. the 1993 5.8L).
Does not fit for King Cobra!
