Frequently asked questions:
1. How to determine the axle size I want
Answer: If you want to get the correct axle, you need to carefully check the spacing between your wheel hub surfaces and leaf springs. Please refer to the following instructions on how to measure.
If you build a trailer from scratch, then you don't have to worry about measuring anything. Just choose the width of the axis you want.
Wheel hub spacing (HF):
The length of the shaft measured from the bottom of one wheel stud to the bottom of the other wheel stud.
This dimension can be obtained by measuring the point where two wheels meet on one side of the shaft to the point where two wheels meet on the other side of the shaft.
This measurement is very important, and there is an allowable error of about one inch between your measurement spacing and the dimensions we display.
Leaf spring spacing (SC):
The approximate width of the trailer. It is a measurement from the center of the spring seat on one side of the axle to the center of the spring seat on the other side. This axle beam is welded with spring seats.
