Key Features

  • Complete Valve Train Overhaul: A comprehensive, professional-grade master kit containing matching left/right camshafts, hydraulic lifters, and roller rocker arms designed to restore quiet operation, optimal valve timing, and original engine horsepower.

  • Solves Engine Ticking & Misfires: Specially engineered to eliminate common top-end valvetrain issues, including loud engine ticking, rough idling, camshaft lobe wiping, and premature valve wear.

  • Premium Hardened Metallurgy: Constructed using advanced heat-treated, high-grade steel alloys. Every camshaft lobe, rocker roller bearing, and hydraulic plunger is precision-machined to resist high friction and wear under extreme thermal loads.

  • Direct OEM Fitment Standards: Manufactured to match original factory dimensions, oil flow pathways, and pressure thresholds for seamless installation and structural integrity.

Crucial Fitment & Compatibility Notice

Please Read Before Purchasing: To eliminate recent compatibility and sizing issues, our technical team has cross-referenced and verified the exact powertrain restrictions.

  • Engine Configuration Restriction: This kit is designed ONLY for Ford/Modular 3-Valve (3V) SOHC V8 engines (specifically the 4.6L 3V and 5.4L 3V).

  • Strict Non-Compatibility: This kit WILL NOT FIT any 2-Valve (2V) or 4-Valve (4V) engine variants. It also excludes later model years (e.g., 2011–2014) which utilize updated oil phaser setups, alternative valve spring dimensions, or flex-fuel head variations. Please verify your vehicle's engine code and valve count prior to ordering.

Important Mechanical & Installation Notes

  • Pre-Lubrication Mandate: Never install valvetrain components dry. You must completely submerge the hydraulic lifters in fresh engine oil to purge internal air pockets, and liberally coat the camshaft lobes and rocker rollers with specialized high-pressure assembly lubricant prior to initial engine startup.

  • Inspect Associated Components: When doing a full camshaft and rocker rebuild on Ford 3V engines, it is highly recommended to inspect and replace the timing chains, guides, tensioners, and variable camshaft timing (VCT) solenoids/phasers to ensure overall system synchronicity.

  • Professional Installation Highly Advised: Internal engine building requires specialized timing alignment locks, strict multi-stage torque sequences, and advanced mechanical experience. Professional assembly by a certified heavy line mechanic is strongly recommended.
