Operating Instructions & The "14-Hour" Rule:

This charger is designed to automatically turn off when your battery pack reaches a specific voltage level. However, please read the following guidelines for older battery packs:

  • If it hasn't automatically shut off after 14 hours: Sometimes, aging battery packs fail to reach the required "trigger voltage," causing the charger to remain continuously on in a low-output trickle charge mode.

  • What to do: If this happens, simply unplug the charger from the wall outlet manually. Your cart will be fully charged. Operating the charger in manual disconnect mode (unplugging it after a maximum of 14 hours) will NOT harm your battery pack.

  • Self-Correction: In many cases, after the charger has completed a few manual charge cycles, the batteries may recondition slightly, and the automatic shutoff function will begin operating normally again.
