Installation & Usage Guide

Clean: Ensure the lathe spindle threads and faceplate mating surfaces are completely free of sawdust, oil, and debris.

Thread & Tighten: Thread the faceplate clockwise onto the spindle. Use a wrench on the hex flats to tighten until it sits completely flush against the spindle shoulder with no play.

Lock (Crucial): Use the included hex wrench to securely tighten the 2 set screws on the side of the hub. This locks the faceplate to the spindle and prevents it from spinning off during high-speed operation or braking.

Mount Wood: Place your wood blank flat against the faceplate and drive screws through the countersunk holes to secure it tightly before turning.

⚠ IMPORTANT WARNINGS:

Strict Fitment: This faceplate is strictly for 1" x 8TPI spindles. It is NOT compatible with any other thread sizes or diameters.

Safety First: Never operate the lathe without fully tightening the safety set screws.

Capacity: Designed for small-scale turning. For large or heavy wood blanks, please use a larger diameter faceplate.

Maintenance: Periodically clean threads and apply a light coat of lubrication to extend the product's lifespan.
