Directives:
1. Seal the outer diameter of the rubber with clean oil lubricating oil. Lubricate the gearbox cover or flywheel housing bore with clean oil.
2. Install two guide studs (J-35686-2) through the holes provided by the center guide assembly (J-35686-1) and insert them into two tapping holes on the crankshaft that are 180 degrees apart. Tighten the guide studs. The base must be close to the end of the crankshaft.
3. Install the spacer on the center screw of the base.
4. Slide the oil seal assembly from the mounting base to the crankshaft hub, as far as possible. Seal ring on the step side that slides in contact with the seal. Slide the mounting cup over the guide studs and mounting base.
5. Lubricate the center screw of the base with extreme pressure lubricant. Face the housing side of the thrust bearing towards the mounting cup and mount the hex nut to the center screw of the base.
6. Tighten the hex nut until the oil seal and wear sleeve are pressed into the flywheel housing or gearbox cover.
7. When the inner surface of the housing rests firmly against the base and gasket, the seals and sleeves are installed correctly. Remove tool.

All authorized returns must be unused and in their original condition, including all items and components that were included in the original package. A prepaid shipping label will be issued for all returns due to warranty claim.
The warranty does not cover lost or stolen packages. Because the customer is the shipper, he/she is the only one who can file any lost claim with the shipping company. Therefore, the claim must be coordinated and processed through the shipping company by the customer.
